Pension Pare Lodge - Pirae

Just a reliable pick for a quick weekend visit in Pirae with great value for money. I loved having coffee available anytime and the cold water machine was a nice touch. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

perfectly clean hotel, liked to be near centre, several good supermarkets, the food trucks and to papeete town and the city center thanks to lovely location. my room was reasonably spacious and included climate control, a fridge, and a couch bed. the property met what i needed.

Ideal location, just a walk down to everywhere. Based close to airport as well as centre of Papeete.

Straight talk, worth it or not?

Perfect check-in at 3:30am with warm hospitality. The kids adored the pool!

The location felt isolated , limiting nearby entertainment or dining options.

Coffee available any time made it easy to recharge. Open areas around the hotel felt much bigger and added a chill vibe to the stay.

No daily cleaning was a letdown, but they did bring anything needed. Arriving in the evening felt closed up, with no clear route to check in. The small pool at the front felt exposed. Barking dogs and early morning roosters made for a noisy start to the day, so earplugs are a wise inclusion.

The King Studio with Sofa Bed was super comfy for my solo trip. The room was clean and had a nice layout. Plus, I loved how breakfast was just a short walk away. The setting felt really special, almost like a mini-resort vibe. Only downside? The AC could've been a bit stronger, but overall, a great stay!

The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool, a highlight for our family, while the surrounding mango trees added a lovely tropical touch. The continental breakfast was fantastic, with fresh fish dishes. The air conditioning in our room could have performed better, and some noise from the surroundings occasionally disrupted our peace. The location felt somewhat distant from local dining options.

Great spot for a 4-night getaway! the staff here were super friendly, always ready to help out, and even hooked me up with free parking. 🌟 Plus, there's a nice spread of goodies available for breakfast that really hit the spot.
